Hytracker Manufacturing Ltd. has designed their rail cart as a mobile working platform to work integrally with a hydraulic excavator. The Hytracker Rail Cart System allows an excavator to be completely self-contained, self-propelled and capable of moving on track at speeds up to 25 mph. The carts are driven by the hydraulics of the excavator. Each cart is equipped with knuckles and an air system capable of handling and dumping an air dump.

Hytracker Equipment is designed with an air braking system (fail safe) and a hydraulic quick coupling system operable from the operator’s cab. It will operate on grades up to 2.2 percent.

On the job, Hytracker’s low-profile heavy duty construction and stabilizers make a sturdy platform for any equipment, on any terrain. These features allow an excavator to work on either side of the rail. When rail traffic needs to get through, hydraulic air lines can be quickly disconnected, the equipment driven off and the rail cart lifted from the tracks in minutes.
